Perhaps not the best day for a sunrise morning bike ride?…
good ride, but no sunrise!!! Plenty of clouds though…

Another serene sunrise to start off the day. With quiet reflections in the harbor, Ferris fun, silhouette spokes & a quick visit to the Goldstar Families Memorial & Park.

And a big sky show always deserves a big morning photo… or two!!!

One big cloud obscuring the sun. Sure, the sun tried.. and tried…
but never quite made the big sunrise break-through.
Good for the dramatic sky show though.

It was a late night drive back into the City after the fireworks in Chenoa last night. So much fun though to be greeted by the Chicago Skyline still shining in its festive glory.

No better way to start the holiday than sunrise at probably the most patriotic place in Chicago… Navy Pier. Great views of the City, the Lake and their majestic line-up of flags. Perfect for the day. Happy Fourth!!!

Wonderful bike ride to kick-off July…
hard to believe it’s already here! Picture perfect for a palindrome day!

Clear skies with a cool breeze all the way down for a beautiful sunrise
on Chicago’s Navy Pier.

Looks like Navy Pier is gearing up for a busy Pride Weekend.

While the statue of Bob Newhart looks on… according to the Navy Pier website…
Designed for visitor participation, lie on the couch and pour out your troubles to bronze Bob Hartley, the 1970s psychologist from The Bob Newhart Show. Created by Studio EIS in New York, the life-sized statue was commissioned by nostalgia cable channel TV Land and unveiled to the City of Chicago on July 27, 2004 by the company’s president Larry W. Jones. In November 2004, the statue was moved to Navy Pier.

Kinda dreary today.
But still fun geometry & grids of rusty metal while playing downtown today!
