A layer of fluffy clouds flying low on the horizon this morning… offering up a beautiful sky show in the early hours. Peaceful & serene, it was great to see the lake so nice & calm again.

Another cloudy morning… with a cool breeze & dramatic reflections. A sliver of sunrise color before the clouds took over the morning.

A splash-tastic morning along the lakefront today. Beautifully layered clouds changing colors as the waves came crashing in… always a challenge to capture the splash and yet not get soaked at the same time!

Clear skies & golden reflections shimmering on the lake.

With a little chill in the air, it felt good to be out on my bike without that “humid slap in the face” this morning! With one large cloud flying low on the horizon, it was just a matter of time waiting for that very brief moment for the sun to appear… knowing that it would disappear behind the clouds just as fast.

Cloudy, breezy & quite humid. Not the best “sunrise” bike ride…
but still a great bike ride… and still a great way to start my day!

Quiet shimmers & golden-orange reflections along the lakefront this morning. A little on the humid side… but I’m always more than willing to “sweat” for another beautiful sunrise like this!

A beautiful sunrise along the lakefront with colorful clouds flying low on the horizon. A gorgeous way to start day… before heading back out for Day Two of the GLENVIEW SUMMER ART FAIR. Just a little re-stocking & re-arranging and I’ll be all ready to go!

Lots of clouds this morning… dark & gloomy. I was hoping for some colorful clouds as the sun came up. Instead we got more dark clouds… and I even pedaled through some sprinkles!!! And NOT the yummy candy jimmies kind of sprinkles!

This morning was a great example of MORE IS MORE!
More clouds. More color. More drama.
More fun pedaling along the lakefront to start my day!!!
