Pastoral colors & serene reflections… a great way to start the day before heading back to Burlington Park for Day Two of the HINSDALE FINE ARTS FESTIVAL. I always enjoy Day Two… as the tent & shelves are already up, just a little replenishing and we’re ready to go! So much easier & relaxing than setting it all up on Day One! It looks like another beautiful day… so be sure to swing by to say “Hi” from 10:00am-5:00pm.

Another quiet morning with a few clouds gently wafting through. A nice respite from this week’s “heatwave” with slightly cooler morning temps & a nice breeze along the lakefront.

A quiet start to a shortened week. Serene sunrise reflections with just a few clouds playing in the sky. A great way to start our four-day work week… except for those of us that have an art fair next weekend… which makes it a SIX-DAY work week for me!!!

A little on the monochromatic & hazy side of things this morning. Quiet & serene… luckily with a bit of a sunny breakthrough at the end. Shimmering reflections without much of a cloud-show!

The beautiful South Shore Cultural Center on the south side of Chicago… kinda where the bike trail ends… so it makes a nice place to refuel & to turn around to head back home!

The perfect day… and the perfect way… to play hooky this afternoon!!!

While the clouds seem to have moved in for the day, this morning started off with clouds in all the right places. Beautiful sunrises reflections & lighthouse silhouettes to start the day.

A clouded start to another morning along the lakefront. There was some good sunrise potential… and yet the sun never quite made it through the clouds. As there was a thick layer hovering low on the horizon, and another large band moving in. Some good clouded views & reflections… but we never really got the colorful clouds I was hoping for.

A cloudy start… with some good sunrise potential that never really quite came together?! The sun tried peeking through, but instead we were kinda stuck with a monochromatic morning!

Not a lot of clouds, not a lot of excitement. Just another quiet morning riding along the lakefront enjoying the morning sun… and the early Spring warmth of the morning. So nice not to have to pile on the layers any more?! Hoping we’re done with that… but it’s Chicago!!! It could always snow tomorrow?! HA!!!
