Thanks to my cousin Kim for bringing the bulbs & for helping with planting all of them last Fall… so excited to see an explosion of color getting ready to burst in my front yard!

With a lot of cloud-cover this morning, we were sure making up for no clouds yesterday! There was a slight glimmer of colorful sunrise… great potential for a beautiful sunrise sky show. But to no avail… it lasted for about a minute before the clouds won out. Seemingly for the rest of the day, as we have a bit of rain later in the forecast.

They say “on a clear day you can see forever.”
Well, it was pretty clear this morning… not a cloud in the sky…
but I don’t think I could quite see “forever.” Dang.

Shimmering sunrise reflections this morning.
But I had to enjoy it early… as the gray clouds moved in fast for the rest of the day!

Nothing but clear skies this morning. No clouds for the sun to play with… or to make my sunrise photos more interesting. So I had to get creative… and go for some mirrored window reflections!

Colorful wispy clouds blowing across the horizon. It started out quite warm this morning… but that breeze along the lake was a bit stronger than I expected!

What started out as a quiet & serene sunrise… turned out to be a bit more splashy that I had expected! I always LOVE when the waves are crashing & the sunrise is highlighting every wave! Timing is everything!!!

After being “trapped” inside all day yesterday firing the soda kiln… it was great to get out this morning for a little fresh air! A beautiful sunrise before the predicted clouds & rain move in for the day.

A dramatic start to the morning… albeit for just a few mere minutes! So many clouds with just the tiniest sliver of sunrise. And then the sun went behind the grayness seemingly for the rest of the day!

Plenty of clouds this morning for a beautiful sunrise pedaling along the lake. A bit on the chilly side with a brisk breeze blowing the clouds through the City. A nice way to kick-off a little St. Patrick’s Day morning!
