Spiraled & stamped… and you know how I LOVE a good spiral.
Another new platter fresh out of the kiln and headed to the
GLENVIEW SUMMER ART FAIR this weekend on the grounds of Lyons School.

Unloading a new kiln of glazed pieces just in time for this weekend’s Glenview Summer Art Fair. Got some prepping, pricing & packing to do… and then you can come see some new work this Saturday & Sunday on the grounds of Lyons School in Glenview, Illinois from 11:00am-5:00pm.

In the middle of glazing…
one last kiln to be fired before this weekend’s art fair in Glenview, Illinois.

Next weekend I’ll be back “under the tent” for another weekend art fair. A new one for me… but well-established with a lot of great artists. The 65th Annual Glenview Art League’s Summer Art Fair 2018 will be held on Saturday, July 28th & Sunday, July 29th, 2018 from 11:00am-5:00pm. The art fair is held on the grounds of Lyons School, which is on the corner of Lake Street & Waukegan Road in Glenview, Illinois. Mark your calendar and come on by next weekend!

And since the Evanston Lakeshore Arts Festival was cancelled a few years ago…
this is a great opportunity for all of my Evanstonian & North Shore fans to stop by!
Not a bad way to kick-off your morning! Another ribbon for the collection…
and a nice acknowledgement to start Day Two of the Hinsdale Fine Arts Festival.
We’re here until 5:00pm today – swing by and say “Hi”!!!

Robert Frost bronze statue in the center of Burlington Park…
looking a bit from the morning rain.
But it has stopped raining for now as we prepare for Day Two
of the Hinsdale Fine Arts Festival.

By lunch time the clouds had moved out and we had a beautiful afternoon in Burlington Park. Hoping for more of the same tomorrow… so be sure to stop by and say “Hi” in Booth #102. It’s the Hinsdale Fine Arts Festival… rain or shine! … fingers crossed for shine!!!

Okay, so Day One of the Hinsdale Fine Arts Festival was a bit on the soggy side. Rain all morning to dampen everyone’s spirits. Luckily, pottery only looks better when it’s wet, right?! And when the clouds moved out, the afternoon was much better!

Gotta love a good Friday art fair set-up. White tent & shelving done…
for tomorrow I fill them with pots!!!!
Remember this weekend is the Hinsdale Fine Arts Festival in Burlington Park
in downtown Hinsdale. 10:00am to 5:00pm both Saturday & Sunday.
Booth #102 right under the shade trees!!!

A huge THANK YOU this morning for everyone who came out this weekend to the Schaumburg Prairie Arts Festival in the blazing sun & heat. It was so good to see everyone and a great way to kick-off my summer art fair schedule. We all made it through… even my flowers that I had to water like every 30 minutes to keep them from frying in the sun!!!
