Looks like Cory McCrory has started adding a splash of color to her pieces in her studio! Can’t wait to see how these get finished… and how they’ll work together with my parts of this collaboration project. So here they are… sweet textured cups by my pal Cory McCrory. Getting one step closer to our collaboration coming together for ART IN THE GARDEN!

So it looks like my pottery pal & “collaboration cohort in crime” Cory McCrory has been working in her studio making some parts & pieces for our ART IN THE GARDEN collaboration project. I love her handbuilt pieces with wonderful textures & whimsy!

Can’t wait to see how these pieces come together… and now I guess I need to start making MY part of the collaboration too, huh?!

With ART IN THE GARDEN coming so quickly… many of the artists are working together to make some special collaboration pieces. Working with each other to create something fresh & exciting. I’ve got a few collaborations in the works… and these have got to move along in the process! Drying flat… and soon into a bisque kiln!

With ART IN THE GARDEN just a few weeks away, the artists are all working on their collaboration projects! Part of the novelty & fun of this art fair is that the artists get to play together & make unique artwork just for this show. Looks like Mary Foster has been doing some doodles… getting ready for our upcoming collaboration!

these cutie-patooties are going into a kiln soon. Just trying to get them done quickly so they can move along in the process… as there’s a “very good chance” they might just be a part of a collaboration project for ART IN THE GARDEN!

Making some more mini’s while “throwing off the hump” with my class last week. There’s a pretty good chance these might just make it into some sort of “collaboration situation” with ART IN THE GARDEN coming up pretty soon!

So we’re exactly one month away from ART IN THE GARDEN!
My next outdoor art fair… and a very special one at that! It’s a smaller show with a grassroots flair by a bunch of talented friends & artists. We’ve already got a few surprises up our sleeves… like another artist joining us with handmade glass! Plus… the collaboration projects are all under way! I know I’m working on three collaborations with three different artists so far… always fun to stretch out of our little studio “boxes” a bit to see what happens when we get a chance to play together!!!
