And it looks like it’s not just me doing a collaboration with the talented Mary Foster… as metalsmith Amy Taylor has been working on some colorful collaboration pieces with Mary as well. Like this beautiful lady bug brooch… or the morning glory one in the background. All of the one-of-a kind collaborations will be “revealed” Friday night at THE COZY COTTAGE POP-UP… which continues all day Saturday as well. We hope that you might be able to stop by to see some fun artwork by some of My Talented Friends!

Looks like my painter-friend Mary Foster has finished her mini-paintings for our latest collaboration project. My ceramic frames should be out of the glaze kiln soon… and then we just need to pair them up! Then we’ll be all ready for the BIG REVEAL this Friday evening for the kick-off of THE COZY COTTAGE POP-UP. We’ll be there on Saturday too… but no guarantee that our collaborations will still be there?! There’s a limited quantity… so it’s gonna be first come, first served!

Here’s some more details…

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
Next weekend is another POP-UP art fair… handmade pottery along with a couple of My Talented Friends! The “cozy cottage” is actually the home of my friend & painter Mary Foster. We’ll be joined by metalsmith Amy Taylor & Karen Wilson with her artisan candles & more! It will be a fun Friday night & all day Saturday next weekend… with fun surprise Gift Bags for the first twenty-four people!

This Wednesday from 10:00am-7:00pm… a “sweet” little pottery POP-UP SHOP at Maurie’s Sugar Shoppe in Eureka, Illinois. If you’re hanging out anywhere in Central Illinois… be sure to swing by for some of my handmade pottery, homemade fudge, retro candies & the best caramel apples anywhere!!!

Tonight I swung by FALL INTO DAMEN AT NIGHT near the studio to see two of my beginning pottery students who were participating in the event! Robert makes these great candles with witty names, metal containers & great fragrance combinations! After smelling almost all of them… I ended up coming home with a “Spruce Wayne”. Can’t wait to light it up!

Well, it was bound to happen.. another batch of textured picture frames as part of another upcoming collaboration with painter Mary Foster. We first introduced these collaboration pieces at ART IN THE GARDEN this summer… and kinda figured we should do it again for THE COZY COTTAGE POP-UP in November. She’s already got a head-start on her paintings… so I felt as though I had better get my act together too!

Just a quick reminder… my ETSY Store is still open & full of fun pottery! Stamped. Soda-fired. Glazed. But the current selection is scheduled to “close” this coming Monday 10/18/21. If you want to see the “full” selection, check it out this weekend… and add a few pieces to your collection!

When these products “expire” on ETSY next Monday, I will be re-stocking my shop with a much smaller selection of pieces! My plan is to refresh & replenish my ETSY Shop more frequently, but with smaller batches of pottery!

Categories: art fair, The Ghouls Collection

Another cute moment during ART IN THE BARN was when this little guy found the Werewolf Ghouls on the bottom shelf… he was mesmerized… and carried on trying to convince his Mom that he really “needed” one of them for his room! Well played Levi… I hope you’re enjoying your new Ghoul!!!
