One of the best parts of art fairs is “trading” with your talented art fair friends. Lucky me came home with two new pieces by My Talented Friend” Cory McCrory!!! Love the colors, the textures, the whimsy… and you know I LOVE WHIMSY!!!

And speaking of colors, textures & whimsy…

Although I was startled awake this morning with wind gusting through my bedroom window, the weather in Hinsdale looks beautiful now and we’re ready to kick-off Day Two!!! Hoping to find a good home for this set of four turquoise bowls today!!!

Congratulations to my creatively-crazy-ceramic friend Cory McCrory who won “1st Place 3D Art” today at the Hinsdale Fine Arts Festival. Her work is incredible, and so is she! Mark your calendar for August 30th & 31st when we will be playing together at “Art In The Garden.” Details to come…

BIG THANKS to everyone who came out this weekend and shared their perfect weather with me in Schaumburg. It was great to see so many friends, family, talented artist friends, old college friends, old friends from my previous corporate-life, and new Facebook Fans this weekend. Especially those who came up from Pekin/Goodfield or down from the Wisconsin Dells or the Northwoods!!! You all made it a wonderful show… and a great kick-off to my art fair season. Hinsdale Fine Arts Festival – Saturday, June 7th & Sunday, June 8th

Yesterday was a beautiful day in the park…
and they’re forecasting that today could be even nicer. If that’s even possible?!
Bring it on!!!

And the park we’re in is pretty darn beautiful too…
