Start your day at City Olive this morning with Stu’s Bloody Marys from 11:00am-1:00pm for the Andersonville Arts & Design Weekend. I’m sure your Bloody Mary will taste even better if you drink it from one of my handmade mugs!!! Then stick around from 12:00pm-2:00pm for some sweets from Pear Tree Preserves. Plenty of my pottery to compliment the wonderful oils & food treats at City Olive.

This weekend is the Andersonville Arts & Design Weekend. And I have been invited to be the Guest Artist for the weekend at City Olive. The festivities begin tomorrow… so I went in tonight to deliver my pottery and set-up. It’s a fun collaboration & mixture of fine olive oils & fancy foods alongside of my pottery.

Karen has a beautiful store full of wonderfully edible & foodie-favorite surprises. For this special weekend, there is now a wide selection of pottery to choose from as well. All completely usable… food-safe, dishwasher-safe, microwave-safe, etc. So be sure to stop by City Olive for some fun this weekend. And to grab yourself some of my pottery – especially if you couldn’t make it out to any of my Summer Art Fairs!

This year I have been invited to be the Guest Artist at City Olive
for the Andersonville Arts & Design Weekend. I’ve had a small selection of my work in the store for a few years in both the Andersonville and Roscoe Village locations. Mostly oil pourers and olive trays which fit perfect with the store’s product selection. But for this weekend, my product selection will be bumped up quite a bit. So if you haven’t had a chance to get some Fire When Ready Pottery at one of my summer art fairs, here’s your chance in a local Chicago neighborhood.

My work will be well represented and surrounded by gourmet olive oils, imported foods, pastas, cookies, sweet treats and wonderful gift ideas. City Olive has an overwhelming selection of olive oils from around the world. So overwhelming that they even have an oil “taste-testing” area for those who want to learn more before they buy their flavored oils.

So mark your calendar for the second weekend of October for this fun event.
Stroll up and down the streets of Andersonville to see some of the best local artists.

Another beautiful day at ART IN THE BARN…
and the shopping bags are stacking up again. A very good sign.

Plus, the Jack O’Lanterns have been replenished. Smirky festive faces to make you laugh. And a pumpkin that the squirrels can’t eat & destroy!

Plus, we’re going into Day Two with just a couple Mummies left. Last year they were wiped out in a matter of hours… and at this rate, it looks like we’re going to sell out of them again this year!

The last complete set of The Ghouls Collection was just snatched up…
and we’re not even “officially” open for Day Two yet. Yeah!!!

We had a great day yesterday at ART IN THE BARN.
Lots of great customers, beautiful weather, tons of laughs, a funnel cake and my niece Taylor decided to be my new “Artist Assistant” for the day. She did great… and my booth has never been so “lined-up” and organized.

They were still toasty last night coming out of the kiln… I needed gloves!
This morning three Black Cats have already found good homes!
And we’ve only been “officially open” for about 5 minutes!!! Only 21 left…
