Is it just me, or does it feel like 20-degrees colder “just because” the sun isn’t shining?! The dark gloomy clouds to start the morning made my ride feel surprisingly cold today. My mind is ready for Summer… but today we’re struggling to make it feel like Spring.

I have spent a few hours talking to your Dad here at Friendship Village! I work at the Hospitality desk. Bill and I seem to have a lot in common! We have talked about many things including our families! I love art and he has told me about your pottery business and your website! AWESOME WORK!!!!! He has invited me up to his apartment to see some of your work tomorrow on my dinner break! I am looking forward to seeing it in person! Your Dad is a very interesting person. I enjoy talking to him during his many walks through the building! Nancy
HEY NANCY – So glad you’ve made it to my website. My Dad has been one of the best “sales reps” I could ever ask for. He’s worked in my art fair booth for years!!! Chatting up the customers and selling pottery… as I’m sure you know, he likes to chat!!! He’s become quite chatty over the past year and a half since my Mom has passed. Growing up as a kid he would never talk – just work all day, come home for dinner and then fall asleep on the sofa! Not any more!!! He loves Friendship Village and we can all see the change it has made in him. He loves it there – the activities, the meals, the people… and his walking routes!!! Before he moved there, he never worked out a day in his life!!! This move has made such a positive change for him both mentally & physically. Thank you for being part of his journey there… and for listening to him when he stops to chat. I hope to meet you soon… and maybe even see you at an art fair sometime this summer!
