I spy with my little eye… somewhere deep in the lush greenery, I see one of my wheelthrown ornaments. While most people use them for Christmas trees… looks like Cheryl enjoys hers year-round when it’s hanging on her outdoor pergola. Even more amazing when it is being engulfed by some beautiful purple hyacinth bean vines!!! Thanks for showing off your garden Cheryl.

More than ten pieces wheelthrown before 10:00am… this time another batch of mugs in the works!!! These ones will be glazed… so I added some textured bands around the top for the glaze to puddle & pool in!!!

Looks like my combo “wedding & baby shower” gift was much appreciated… which I kinda expected for a purple pottery fan!!! Congratulations to Allison & Michael as they await the birth of their new baby any day now!!!

Cool & breezy… but luckily not as cold as the past couple days! The wind was pretty gusty in areas… and the tailwind was pretty nice riding back home! Not many clouds in the sky… just a few gently drifting across the morning sky.

Just a little Saturday carving session. This green slip ombré bowl has been under wraps for awhile… finally found some time to finish it up. Carving a detailed pattern using my favorite P1 carving tool from DiamondCore Tools.

Most likely the last two dahlias in my garden. Luckily, we’ve avoided the overnight frost warnings… so “maybe” we have a little more time with a slim chance of another flower or two???

It’s that time again… time to turn out my reclaim bucket. Full of gooey-gloppy clay reclaimed from my trimmings & scraps. This pile will sit out on this plaster bat for a few days to help remove some of the extra moisture. And then the wedging marathon will commence. No pug mill here… just my own “muscle memory”!!!
