After a string of dry heatwave days, I’m sure the hydrangeas
were much happier after yesterday’s sudden thunderstorm!
It was a very dark start for my morning ride. With a LOT of clouds covering the horizon… I was excited to se this little sliver of sunrise beauty when I made it over to the lakefront. I was kind of expecting “just clouds”… so this splash of color was a great moment with stunning reflections shimmering on the lake. And then the clouds moved in even more… welcome to my gray morning!
And then just when I thought is going to be “just gray” clouds for the rest of the morning, the sun finally made an appearance breaking through the cloud-cover. Just in time for some more shimmering reflections!
There’s been something brewing… plans coming together… and it’s almost time for the Big Reveal!!! Tonight at 6:00pm I’ll share my big news on my Facebook page! Exciting for me… could be fun for you too?!
After a full day of Summer Camp… I also taught again tonight subbing for a Beginning Wheel class. Without a plan, we went with a “demo-on-demand” for some not-so-basic bowls demo… and lidded jars… and making stamps. It was a full night of demos!!!
Sorry about the blurry photo… smudge on the lens!
Lots of goopey-gloppy fun today at summer camp. Especially when I had some “early” arriving campers re-blend our slip container bucket. Sure, I coulda given them a stirring stick to mix it up… but aren’t hands a lot more fun?! I think all the giggles proved my point.
Looks like Jenn & John are enjoying the new bowl they got at the GLENVIEW SUMMER ART FAIR. Putting it to use right away with a raw asparagus salad with onions & cheese. Thanks for sharing Jenn!
