Spending a little time today photographing some new mugs… thinking it might be time for another online sale right here on my Fire When Ready Pottery Facebook page! I mean… there’s a holiday coming up & some people might enjoy “trick-or-treating” for MUGS instead of candy!!! More to come…
A beautiful blue-sky bike ride north into Evanston… which just happened to take me past this amazing house on the corner or Lake & Hinman! Terra cotta craftsmanship like you’ve never seen before. Exquisite design & craftsmanship… they don’t make ’em like they used to!
Spent a little time this morning “refreshing” my ClayQuilt installation on the corner of my condo building. It has been out there for years… but a few tiles had fallen off. So I replaced them today… and let’s just say, turned out it was a lot more than “a few” missing!!!
More Autumn Fun at the orchard! I don’t think I’ve ever seen Indian Corn… or I think we now appropriately call it Ornamental Corn… still on the corn stalk?! Plus a lot of apples no longer on the trees!!!
Also intrigued by the not-quite-pretty pumpkins… whether they’re still on the vine & just not ready yet… or have somehow “gone bad.” Like withering away, drying up, being eaten in the field or just simply rotting away. It’s kinda like “roadkill” in the pumpkin patch!
So much fun at the pumpkin patch on a beautiful Autumn day! So many to choose from… colors, shapes, gourds, warts & stems!!! Celebrating NATIONAL PUMPKIN DAY!
Another beautiful Fall morning with a chilly breeze & splashing waves that caught me off guard. It was calm yesterday… but not today?! Always fun when the waves are splashing & the sun is shining… trying to catch them both at the same time… and trying even harder not to get wet!
It was a “horror-ific” night of musical theater… with one of my favorite shows!!! I mean, ‘tis the season for creepy Skid Row, a dismembered dentist & a starving carnivorous plant!!!
