While Spring might “officially” be two weeks away… I’m calling it Spring already here in Chicago. Especially with the warm near-70 temps yesterday & the forsythia bushes are already starting to bloom!!!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came up to Evanston for our “4×4 : FOUR MAKERS” show this past weekend. We had so much fun seeing everyone… Sarah, Darlys, Robin & I were so pleased with the turn-out. Another successful show with a lot of handmade “masterpieces” finding their new forever homes! Thanks again… we’ll see you again next year!

A quiet start to another quiet morning. Clear skies with a little bit of haze hovering over the City while a pretty stiff breeze was blowing through. Headwinds for the first half… so riding home was more fun!!!

In between sunrises & “4×4” show times… I’ve been busy in the studio keeping the new batch of Shamrock Mugs on track. Looks like it’s Cookie Time at “4×4 : FOUR MAKERS.” Sweet treats to make us all very smiley! Thanks to our friend Nicole for bringing us some yummy goodies from Tag’s Bakery in Evanston.

And the fourth of our “4×4 : FOUR MAKERS”… a very talented metal sculptor Darlys Ewoldt. These are all hollow constructions of sheet metal all colored with beautiful patinas. They’re amazing… and yet I have absolutely no idea how she makes them?!!!
