There’s been a forest “growing” in my studio… festive trees in line for some glazing fun tonight! Gotta get these moving if they’re going to be ready for my HOLIDAY HOME SHOW next weekend! That’s the plan anyway…

Looking at the calendar…

Fingers crossed…

With pottery in every room of my condo all decked-out for Christmas, food & drink in the kitchen… and the ever-popular “Tired Of Schlepping Sale” on the back porch! So mark your calendars… while I’m busy in the studio & at home getting everything ready for another BIG Holiday Home Show!!! And bring your festive friends…

As most of you know, I hate glazing! But oddly, I totally enjoy waxing bottoms!!! A zen-like process with one clean hand & one wax hand. Wax on, wax off. Now I just need to keep my motivation alive & start glazing all of these if I hope to have them ready for next weekend’s HOLIDAY HOME SHOW!!! Wish me luck…

Stamping & trimming. Another set of bowls in the works… this time a bit wider & shallower than normal. Just hoping to get these done & glazed in time for my Holiday Home Show!

Celebrating a little TEXTURE TUESDAY with some stamped & soda-fired textures! I love how the soda kiln help accentuate all of the textures kinda randomly… and yet I can still get the fun colors to POP!!! Not every soda-fired piece of pottery has to be dark gray, white or brown!!! Just sayin’…

Fall is definitely here… and leaves there are a-fallin’!
Loving the colors & textures… so different on every leaf.

Another beautiful morning with a few wispy clouds blowing though the city. It started with a low & kinda uneventful layer low on the horizon… but luckily, the clouds spread & opened up to catch the colors as the sun came up.
