Hard to believe that Christmas is just a week away.! Thanks to everyone who has been doing some great pottery shopping for the lucky people on their gift lists. It’s so nice to see that my ceramic Christmas Trees are starting to show-up at their new forever homes! And becoming part of the holiday display… like this beautiful set-up that Sharon has going on! And let me just say…. I’m kind of enamored by that groovy retro ceramic Christmas “tree” with the mini ornaments. Sharon… we need the backstory about that wonderful tree!

Looks like my pal Allison is starting off her Saturday with some clean blueberries… I’m hoping she might be getting ready for a blueberry pancakes morning?… yum!

Quick thanks to everyone who made my ONLINE CHRISTMAS TREE SALE such a huge success last night! I posted twenty-five ceramic Christmas trees… and they were practically all claimed in about an hour!!! So now I have some packing & shipping to do to get all twenty-five sent out into the world to spread some festive cheer!

And another quick thanks to my pal Amy for giving me two huge bags of bubble wrap for me to recycle & reuse again! I love when free packing materials show up right when I need them… instead of ending up in a dumpster somewhere! Thanks everyone for keeping this season bright!

Guess what?… I have some extra Christmas Trees!

A few left over form this weekend’s MUD & METAL Holiday Home Show… as well as a few I secretly kept back in reserve just for this pop-up online holiday sale!

So, tomorrow evening (Monday) at 7:00pm CST, I will post all of these handmade ceramic Christmas Trees in a Facebook Photo Album to my Fire When Ready Pottery Facebook page. At that time, the first person to write “MINE” in the Comments section of each photo will get the tree! Very simple, very old school. Hopefully they will all be shipped and arrive in time for Christmas!

No calling dibs now! No buying from this list.
This “preview” is just to give you a little planning headstart & to whet your holiday whistle! They will all be posted in order… which is also from smallest to tallest.

Huge thanks to everyone who made it out this weekend for my MUD & METAL Holiday Home Show! Amy & I had so much fun seeing everyone spreading holiday cheer & doing some holiday shopping! One of the “hidden” benefits of hosting a Holiday Home Show is when people bring you gifts! As a non-coffee & non-tea drinker, I may be late to the Stroopwaffle craze?!

But my friend Tracy brought me a package knowing that I would have hot apple cider for my Home Show. Apparently the idea is you put one of these Stroopwaffles on top of your cup of hot beverage… which in turn melts the yummy caramel layer inside! And yes, now I see what I’ve been missing!!! Thanks again Tracy for the yummy treat… for the non-caffeinated potter!!!

Just looking for a little holiday somethin’-somethin’?… I also have plenty of soda-fired ornaments restocked for today!!! C’mon by… we’re open until 6:00pm!

My uber-talented metalsmith friend Amy Taylor is here again today… also replenishing & restocking … but might have a little “untangling work” to do before she’s all set-up. Ahh… the life of a traveling metalsmith!
