Just another “teaser” of what you’ll find at next weekend’s HOLIDAY HOME SHOW! Another stamped & soda-fired vase from my last firing. This one… and a LOT more will all be available & ready to make the perfect holiday gifts for everyone on your list… including yourself!!!

Windy & surprisingly warm… one last day of Spring-like weather in the low 60’s! The sky was amazing & colorful as I tried to soak in every moment… for tomorrow the temps are supposed to drop as the rain moves in. Kinda felt like a little “warm bonus” sunrise ride this morning!!!

Okay, so maybe I was a young prodigy… just sayin’…

So my morning ride started a little earlier than normal. Had to catch the lunar eclipse as I watched the earth’s shadow cross the moon. Very cool. Very early. Doesn’t happen very often… as our next one is not until 2025… it happens only about every year and a half when the sun, earth & moon all align for this wonderful sky show!!!

While the lunar eclipse was happening to the west… we still had a pretty nice sunrise popping up to the east. It was chilly & VERY windy!!! So it was tough riding into the wind… while watching both left & right. The sunrise was coming up… getting ready to breach the horizon… chilly… windy… waves crashing all around…

… and then my camera battery died! ugh.

Celebrating another MUGSHOT MONDAY with a quick glimpse at some of the new mugs that came out of the soda kiln last week! These and many more will be ready for my HOLIDAY HOME SHOW... as we’ll start with well over a HUNDRED mugs to kick-off the Home Show!

Another morning with crisp weather & clear skies. Barely a cloud in the sky along the lakefront. Perfect to kick-off another week of beautiful Fall weather! It was a bit chillier than I expected though… gotta up my game tomorrow with some warmer gloves!!!

I must admit that I’m one of the few who actually “like” when the time change “Falls back.” It kinda feels like I’ve gotten a bonus hour to play! After my sunrise ride, I worked in the studio all morning & afternoon. But skipped out just in time for a beautiful blue sky ride along the lakefront. Such a wonderful afternoon… this Fall season has been fantastic this year!

After a blustery day yesterday, there are a LOT of leaves scattered about. Fall has apparently FALLEN!!! Luckily, these golden solomon’s seal leaves are still hanging on!

One hour earlier as we “fall back” today… but still a stunning sky show with a fluffy blanket of clouds blowing through to cover the morning sky.
