Another batch of postcards arrived in the mail… thanks to my friends at The Postcard Club!!! Making snail mail cool again with hip new postcards every quarter!!! Get onboard as “you are not alone”… all the cool kids are doin’ it!!!

The coolest pumpkin I could find… you know how I like my pumpkins to have warts!!! And MORE IS MORE… even with warts!!! Remember when pumpkins were just orange & smooth?!

Finishing off another batch of mugs to celebrate another MUGSHOT MONDAY!!! Stamped, handled & accented with colored slips for soda firing!!

Getting ready to add make some handles… and then make some mugs! Always my favorite thing to make!!!

Just some of the cool things you find along the concrete blocks that line portions of Chicago’s lakefront. Wonder how long some of these relief carvings took to create?? Carving into dried concrete blocks can’t be easy or fast!!!

As the sunrise gets later & later in the day, I find that my morning ride is staying darker for more of the miles! This morning it was pretty much black when I started out… with a few airplanes lining up to land at O’Hare! Luckily, at about the halfway point, the sun began to illuminate the sky… and we were treated with a nice sunrise just before I made it home!

After too many mornings of rain, it was great to have finally see the sun… and a “dry” bike trial along the lakefront. Sure, the clouds were still shrouding the skyline, and it was a bit chillier than I expected… but the sun finally made an appearance & brightened my day!

When these products “expire” on ETSY next Monday, I will be re-stocking my shop with a much smaller selection of pieces! My plan is to refresh & replenish my ETSY Shop more frequently, but with smaller batches of pottery!

Okay, so I’ve been a little busy… a little too busy to post sunrise photos on a timely basis… but NEVER too busy to pedal for the sunrise! Like this ride from yesterday morning… before the big storm clouds moved in later in the day!
