Big sky show with big colors… and a big photo!

Another beautiful morning bike ride. Plenty of clouds for the sun to play with this morning… mostly wispy pastels, a moment of vivid pinks… followed by golden reflections!

Making friends along the lakefront. Stopped my bike to dip my feet in the lake… and along came this family of geese. Cute little goslings, feet paddling a-mile-a-minute! Adorable… until Dad hopped out of the water and started hissing at me!!!

So the process has finally begun…
Picking out the pieces that will make it into the inventory for my very first ETSY SHOP launch!!! Yes, it’s true… I’m finally putting together an ETSY page just in time for the NORTHERN ILLINOIS POTTERY TOUR! The tour kicks-off next Friday morning, so I’ve got just less than a week to get my act together… which is tough as my bike is already calling my name to go play outside today!

My purple shamrocks have really been loving the early morning sun these past few days! They have totally burst out with beautiful pastel flowers dancing above the purple clover leaves!

Apparently the prayer plant I got as a gift at the end of the last pottery session… remember the handmade OREO cookie planter?… is VERY happy these days! It’s growing well in my window and has decided to shoot up a couple teeny-tiny flowers?! Who knew they even did that??? Thanks again Christine!

ANOTHER GLORIOUS DAY IN CHICAGO!
The weather this week has been nothing but perfection! So how can I possibly be expected to stay home & work on my ETSY Shop… when the other option is playing outside on my bike???!

So glad that Chicago is officially “re-opening” tomorrow! From the looks of it… Buckingham Fountain has a little bit of a head-start!!!
