Another orchid re-blooming in my kitchen window… although this time it came along with a little visitor?! He seemed to be quite happy sitting in the bloom… but I had to force him outside to find other flowers!!! Not sure what he was or where he came from… I’ve never seen one of these before?
It’s a stink-bug…and I’m glad you urged him out rather than squishing him in which you’d have found out why he’s named such. He’s pretty big…this time of year they seem to hatch between my screens and the windows…I often have a tissue in hand and catch one and throw him outside.
Thanks Barb! I don’t think I’ve ever seen one before?… so glad I didn’t squish it now.
