Since when do they make OVAL buildings?… one of my favorites!

Enjoying some some blue skies & bright sunshine streaming through one of my shamrock plants… from the warmth & comfort INSIDE my condo!!! Just one more “distraction” to delay my trip into the studio today!

So then THIS happened last night in class!!!

And no… Dexter is NOT In my class!!!

It was just Kelly trying to dye her clay red with some “strawberry red” inclusion stain. She started with gloves but found it easier to wedge it in with bare hands. She’s still planning on adding more pigment to make it even more RED!!! Kinda wondering how long her fingertips will stay that “bloody” red color???

Last night in class, Darcy asked if she could borrow some of my DiamondCore Carving Tools… and of course I said YES!!! She was excited to try some carving on her large vase from last week’s class… and was kind of amazed at how sharp & crisp the lines were!!!

Looks like SUPER BOWL snacks are coming together… some healthier than others… in some “super bowls”!!! Mine is a large blue stamped bowl… while the adorable bunny bowl was made by my pal Cory McCrory! Thanks for sharing your bowls & snacks Tina!

So it’s a little “chilly” outside… well below freezing again… good enough reason to stay inside and enjoy my frozen front porch windows!!! Loving the frozen fractal patterns that Mother Nature painted for me overnight!

After spreading some “good fortune” for the New Year by hiding twenty-one fortune cookies for an “Illinois Beach State Park Scavenger Hunt”… I figured it was time to replenish the inventory a bit. So much fun to make these little cuties. This is just the first batch… I’m sure there will be more to come!!!
