Just another beautiful Fall day… sun’s out, temps up… loving being outside playing this afternoon on my bike. Enjoying some of the Christmas “colors” that are presenting themselves!!!

Further down the lake front bike trail, south of the City, the “crowd” thins out and you get to see some great art along the way! Like this installation piece honoring Bessie Coleman… an early American civil aviator. She was the first African-American woman to hold a pilot license.

Closed, but not forgotten… Chicago’s Navy Pier may be closed due to the pandemic and a huge lack of tourism in Chicago. It’s completely locked down so you can’t even go down The Pier. But you can still enjoy the gardens & views out front… especially by bike!

Clear blue skies made a perfect opportunity for a beautiful afternoon bike ride! Including a stop at the totem pole at Lake Shore Drive & Addison… a favorite landmark for many Chicagoans!

Or at least it should be during these trying times!
Especially with the holidays just days away!

Well, I know things are still crazy out there…
but we’re keeping it safe over here!

So I will be opening up my HOLIDAY HOME SHOW once again this weekend. The shelves have been re-stocked, including the “Tired of Shlepping” Sale shelves!!! Plenty of pottery for everyone!!! We’re keeping it safe with face masks, hand sanitizers and limited access. Be aware that if you come by, you may need to wait for a few minutes until it’s your turn to come in if someone else is already shopping!

Saturday, December 12th – 10:00am-6:00pm
Sunday, December 13th – 10:00am-6:00pm
1353 West Rosemont #3, Chicago, Illinois 60660

Located in the Edgewater Glen neighborhood on the southeast corner of Rosemont & Glenwood… between Clark & Broadway, two block s south of Devon. It’s the one with the green ceramic totem pole in front!!!

Shopping in person is always more fun… touching, loving, feeling. But if you’re not comfortable with shopping in person, which I totally get, remember you can always shop my pottery online too! Click HERE for online shopping!

Okay, so I first did a batch of ice-dyed tie-dye shirt at the start of the pandemic. So I find it a little disheartening that here I am doing it again… it’s been quite awhile now, and not a whole lot has changed?! Except for my LOVE of tie-dye!!! So here are a couple shirts under the ice, melting away and dyeing my shirts! Big reveal still to come… but for now it’s a waiting game!

Looks like another sweet homemade fruit pie baked in a handmade ceramic pie dish! Not sure which one is prettier… but can admit that the pie was indeed YUMMIER!!! Thanks for the sweet treat Rosene!
