Christmas is just a week away. And you know how much I LOVE making my wheelthrown holiday ornaments. Looks like I still have a “few” more to add to my tree!!!
It was a few weeks back, and my poinsettia started preparing for the holidays.
After a summer outside, my poinsettia from last year is right on schedule with the red leaves re-blooming for this holiday season.
Mugs are starting to arrive in their new homes!
And I love seeing happy faces with their new mugs from the St. Nick’s Day Online Sale!
I’m sure their morning coffee tastes even better now!!!
If you’re enjoying your Fire When Ready Pottery mug,
please send me a Selfie to gary@firewhenreadypottery.com. Thanks!
One of my favorite birdhouses enjoying a snowy day. This one is on my back porch. It’s one of many in my collection… all handmade by my very first art fair friends Gerry & Rosene!!!
You know how I love seeing my pottery being used in people’s homes.
However, this is a new one!!!
My friend Chris bought a spoon rest as a new “food bowl” for her pet Bearded Dragon. Apparently he loves the color & stamped textures!
Another stamped & soda-fired porcelain mug…
this time with mustard flashing slip & inlaid tenmoku glaze.
First wave of packages headed out… it’s a busy time.
Sure wish I had a couple Elves to take care of this for me!
The happy recipients of this first batch are the ones who snagged a mug
during the “St. Nick’s Day Online Sale.”
While we did not get the “snowmageddon” they were predicting… there was a crazy mix of snow, ice and fallen leaves frozen to my car this morning. I think Mother Nature might be a little confused?!
And we still have a LOT on the trees too?… like they somehow forgot to fall off?!!!
A perfectly warm bowl of soup on a snowy winter day.
Thanks Allison for sharing your cozy meal. Looks like it’s almost gone…
might be time for a refill. I suggest a hot fudge sundae!!!
A stamped & soda-fired platter to hang on the wall.
And my 1,500th photo posted on INSTAGRAM!!!
Don’t forget to find me there for some quick visual candy in your Instagram Feed…
just do an Instagram search for firewhenreadypottery. Thanks!
