My class demo bowls have made it out of the bisque kiln…
so now it looks like I have a lot of glazing to do!!!

Another cloudy morning.
Just a few minutes of sunrise color… and then back to gray.

Always fun – a “new” demo last night for my pottery class!
A freshly thrown plate with thick white slip painted over a piece of lace. I love the patterns & textures it makes when you pull the lace “stencil” out. There’s definitely some potential here… think I may need to play with this idea a bit more!

More rusty “gear curtain” fun on my back porch…
this time from the other side with fun shadows bouncing off the walls!

So the new sculpture is done. Finally installed.
It’s kind of fun to a something “new” to play with on my morning bike ride photo adventures. Although I’m still thinking Don Quixote. Still thinking Jesus. Still not a fan… but that’s just me.

The sky was covered with clouds.
And I loved the way the City glowed pink with the lights reflecting.

For the longest time I thought we would never even get a sunrise. But then, lo and behold, the clouds opened up just a little bit at  just the right time. I appreciated how the sunbeams “projected” up onto the other clouds as the sun came shining through.

Love the juxtaposition of natural & industrial. Golden leaves & rusty grids.

Driving to work this morning and the sunrise continued to impress.
Love the stunning mackrel clouds illuminated by the morning sun.

I love the “curtain” of rusty gears that hangs on my back porch.
And it looked even cooler with this morning’s clouded sunrise!
