Now that the Hinsdale art fair is over…
time to hop on an airplane and start “my next big adventure.”

Okay, three weeks in Dover, Delaware may not be too exciting, but…
hopefully there will be some nice morning sunrises over Delaware Bay.
Oh yeah, and some fun design work to do at the FIREFLY Music Festival
and BIG BARREL Country Music Festival. Part of my other “gig.”

Just a quick thank you to everyone who came out to Hinsdale for a fun art fair in Burlington Park. Despite the overnight storm, we had surprisingly great weather both days. Clear skies, cool breezes and long grass to tickle your toes. It was so much fun to see everyone out in the park the past two days… customers, family, friends, and other artists!!!

Bright & very early this morning however… I hopped on a plane to start another “adventure.”
Off to Dover, Delaware for a couple weeks to make some “magic happen” in The Woodlands behind Dover Downs International Speedway & Casino. I’ll be working as the Creative Director on the Firefly Music Festival and Big Barrel Country Music Festival. More details, photos and quite possibly a few sunrises to come…

I’ve been gone for three weeks, and I’m just now post-dating these blog entries
now that I’ve returned. Trying to catch-up and share some of my time in Dover.
Hope it was worth the wait.

The Hinsdale Fine Arts Festival “officially” starts in a few minutes… but our flag is flying and we’re already open for business!!! And the sun is shining too… c’mon by!!!

Swing by Hinsdale this weekend for the Hinsdale Fine Arts Festival.
I’ll be there in Booth #100 with plenty of handmade, decorative & functional pottery. Mostly stamped & soda-fired, but also some of these new, bright pops of color!!! We’re there from 10:00am-5:00pm both days. Hope to see you there.

This morning started out with a pretty normal sunrise.
But then that one large cloud moved in.

… and voila’  ... sunrise magic ensued!!!
Even if it was just for a few fleeting moments.

Fresh from the kiln… three new stamped platters!!! Bright colors. Big fun.
