DAVE – Sorry for the delay… hectic holiday season…
Let me just say at the start: The thickness wasn’t enough and I got a bit more warping that I would like. They were about a 1/4″ thick when I made them. And the diameter (to be quite honest) were just two different round plates I had in my studio to use as a template. I will try this shape again this year to see if I can resolve the issues I had during the soda firing. Too much warping and some cracking. Need to re-visit and do some problem-solving!!! Thanks for asking though… stay tuned…
