Gary Jackson: Fire When Ready Pottery
A Chicago potter’s somewhat slanted view of clay & play

Two days of standing around selling artwork can be exhausting. Especially with the day before set-up. Not to mention the endless hours of making all the work, packing & transporting. Well, I had a wonderful booth neighbor who makes beautiful watercolor painting. But later this afternoon… she had had about enough…

Luckily, her husband was there to man the booth while she went down for a quick siesta. Getting ready with a quick “power nap” for the rest of the fair… plus the hours of pack-up and her drive back to St. Louis!!!
