Gary Jackson: Fire When Ready Pottery
A Chicago potter’s somewhat slanted view of clay & play

Here’s the third batch of textured pillow tiles… the smallest size of the three. My goal is to have the three sizes so people can pick & choose and create their own “constellations” to hang on their walls. But the BIG question is… What to call them??? The “working title” has been “Textured Wall Pillows.” But I’d like to come up with something a bit catchier. Any suggestions?!

Using the word “constellations” would be catchy. Display in groups with an odd number.

BEV – Yes, always an odd number!!! And yes, I kind of like “constellations” as well. Clay constellations?! But my fear is it might discourage shoppers who might only want to buy one… and not a full grouping. Thanks for the suggestion.

Gary, 1 could be sold as a “star”! See you on the 23rd. I made time in my schedule to come to your Holiday Home Show.

These remind me of vintage buttons. (I have a bunch that I’d like to use for stamping.) But, button doesn’t seem like a good term for them. Maybe medallions.

How about shooting stars? I love the constellation idea.
