After my fun weekend up in the Wisconsin Northwoods… spending a lot of quality time
with my friend & wonderful potter Amy Higgason – I came home with some great
new pots to add to my collection! A beautiful carved bowl and a large platter. Each more
stunning than the next. The amount of time & effort she puts into each piece is amazing!
When someone asked how our ceramic works compares to each other…
one happy customer (thank you Pat) summed it up quite eloquently as
“Amy’s work is more feathery, Gary’s work is more footprinty.”
Oddly accurate if you really take time to think about it.

HEY AMY – I’m working frantically to get through all of my photos! Hundreds of them. Quite daunting. But I promise they will be worth the wait!!! I’m just trying to put my “footprint” on them all. And tell the story from my point of view… through the viewfinder!!!

KELLY – There aren’t any shots without the gourds… currently! But I can tell you that I took hundreds of photos while I was up there. A lot of photos of Amy’s work. So when I finally get done sifting through all of my photos, I guarantee that there will be several LARGE blog postings… AND a few Facebook photo albums created to “celebrate” the occasion. And Amy’s wonderful work! Thanks for checking in… GARY
