We survived another day in the park… and were lucky enough to have “dodged”
some of the bad weather that was anticipated all day! We started the day with
cloudy skies and a cool breeze. A little cloudy… a little hazy… and yet I still felt
confident that the day was going to be a lot nicer than yesterday.
Another great surprise today was a visit by a former “co-worker”… or should I say
Vice President?! Okay, let’s go with the “good VP”… NOT the one I worked for! I haven’t
seen him for several years since I left the entire “corporate world” to play in the clay!
It was a great surprise – and it felt like it was just yesterday that I was slinging
witty sarcasm his way! I’m sure he’s missed me… ha.
All in all, I think we had a really good weekend fair in Hinsdale. It turned out to be
a successful fair, and I feel very lucky to have had as much good weather as we did.
For what started out with “evacuation plans”, the weekend turned out much better
than expected. And I got an “Honorable Mention” ribbon to boot…
