Ahh, reclaim. Some of the most expensive clay you will ever use.
Wow, that’s gonna be a lot of work. I think if I had that large a mound of reclaim, I would cry.
It might be expensive, considering the time it takes to deal with it, you could be making more things, or doing something else. But I still can’t get used to throwing clay away, it just seems like a waste -and for every pound of clay thrown away, that is another pound that has to be mined, transported,
shipped, handled, which all adds up to energy used. I don’t know if it is economically efficient or not, I haven’t done enough research. I do know that Jeff Zamek has said that it isn’t really economically feasible for today’s potters to dig and process their own clay, as opposed to buying it.
Reclaim? I dunno.
