Let the stamping continue… slightly larger bowls, slightly “bulge-ier” stamping!
I especially love how the reverse-stamp-divots inside the bowls are becoming
even more prominent. And the rims are becoming a little more decorative as well.
A whole new texture inside the bowl. Can’t wait to see what happens after they’re glazed!
Those are really cool Gary. Are the indentions on the inside from a stamp or your hand?
HEY SCOTT – The inside impressions are just from my finger as I’m pressing the outside stamp. When I first started stamping, I really didn’t like what the stamping did to the inside. And I would go back and smooth that all back in. Over the years, I have grown to appreciate the “new” interior texture… and am now accentuating the interior. However… I’m kind of intrigued by your “suggestion” of maybe trying to do the same thing with an actual “stamp” inside instead of my finger tip?! Hmmm….
