The morning started with spotty clouds… and then a few more… and then a LOT more. Soon enough, too many for a good sunrise. Still pretty, but really just a lot of clouds.
Big sky show yesterday morning… and no need for special glasses to see THIS one!!!
Sure, this morning may have been gray & rainy…
but yesterday was pretty amazing! At least until the clouds took over for the day.
Early morning clouds with just a sliver of the moon. Harbor reflections on a somewhat choppy lake. All together another beautiful sunrise ride… and now, back to ART IN THE GARDEN for Day Two!!!
In between the sprinkles, and just before the rain came down, I managed to squeeze in a quick bike ride this morning. Just a little wet. Not much of a sunrise, just a sliver… but instead some beautiful cloudy skies.
Sure, I “probably” should have gone to the studio early to start my kiln firing.
Sure. But c’mon, with a sunrise like this…
how could I miss out by skipping my morning bike ride?! I just couldn’t.
Wispy pink clouds dotting the horizon early this morning.
A quiet Sunday morning along the lake. Clear skies with a few wispy clouds that came closer just in time for a beautiful golden finish to the morning’s sunrise!
With the water level of Lake Michigan about seven inches higher than normal, there are a lot of flooded beaches & places where the waves are coming up over the edges. Kinda fun…. but a little disconcerting at the same time!
Another cloudy start to the day. Good sunrise potential that was never quite fulfilled. All those gray clouds never quite finding their time to shine in a blaze of sunrise colors. So close
The Chicago Skyline looked pretty great though…
