Looks like Rosene has baked up a beautiful quiche to start off their weekend. Looking extra yummy in her stamped pie plate… giving it that little extra flair for the weekend!
Not quite sure what these are… but they’re beautiful in my neighbor’s garden across the street. Spiky small clusters of orange & dark green leaves. I’m hoping that they decide to “migrate” into my garden too!!!
Caught playing in the rain.
Beautiful hydrangeas after a little morning rainfall.
Crazy cool & colorful caladium leaves… when texture, color & pattern collide in Nature!… with a few raindrops!!!
Rainy day.
Dripping on textures.
Creating puddles on hosta leaves.
After summer camp today, I putz’d around in my studio for awhile trying to catch up on a few “projects” that have been hanging out for quite awhile now. One of them was to pull out my latest batch of reclaimed clay & put it on a large plaster bat so it can start to dry. Goopey-gloppy fun… and a lot of FREE CLAY!!! Do you see the not-so-hidden surprise???!
One of my summer campers today made her own potted cactus… guaranteed NOT to die!!! She threw the flowerpot on the wheel, and then handbuilt the cactus. She connected the two & then painted them with colored slips. What a great idea… well done Sophia!
So I can’t claim these lilies as part of my garden, instead they’re just a block down the street. They’re pretty striking… but for some reason I can’t decide if they might be “too busy” or not?! Love the splattering of color… but could it be too much?!
With fresh berries popping up everywhere, it’s the perfect time for a new berry bowl. Just rinse your berries in the strainer bowl, then place it on the plate and they’re ready to be served in your stamped pottery bowl. Easy-peezy… and healthy too!
Plenty of new berry bowls available in my new ETSY SHOP…

Sure, the iris may be gone now… but no need to worry when all of the asiatic lilies start blooming. Always a welcome addition to the garden. Love the graceful curves of the pistil & stamen!
