Just did a bit of stamping on another plate before heading downstairs to teach class again tonight! One single stamp used over & over again to get the repetitive pattern all the way around the rim.

Pretty little berries changing colors on the vine.
Dangling gracefully on the trellis.

A hazy start for another quiet morning ride. Biking along the lake with a foggy haze off in the distance… I’m sure there’s a sun in there somewhere?!

Hey… there it is… finally!!!

Well, we’re one arch closer to getting the Lillstreet soda kiln back up & running. Still need a few more bricks to fill in some of those holes!!! Doug Jeppesen & Neil Estrick have been working hard to get it done for us! Can’t wait to get it firing again! It’s getting there… brick by brick!!!

Another day, another sunrise… another “later than normal.” A quiet morning with a few big clouds, followed by some great shimmering reflections. A wonderful morning biking along the lakefront.

And yes, just in case you’re wondering, that is indeed a dog on a paddleboard being pulled by a swimmer in the morning sunrise.

Colorful coleus in a stamped & soda-fired vase. Love the splash of color contrasting with the stamped & soda-fired texture of the vase. Thanks for sharing your beauties Rosene!

Starting off another day of Summer Camp looking longingly through the skylights at Lillstreet… just waiting for my kids to show up!

Looks like the new Lillstreet soda kiln is coming along quite nicely… brick by brick. Thanks to Doug Jeppesen & Neil Estrick for working on our kiln for us!

Just received a new carved rolling pin from Elaine Diamond at Vermont Pottery Works @epdiamond! Ready to give it a test run!!! It worked great… with nice crisp lines & patterns. But I kinda like the overlapping & interaction of patterns… so I embellished a bit more with two other rollers. More is more, right?!

For more about these carved rolling pins, click here to check out Elaine’s website!

Tiny little textures…
tiny little acorns just getting started on a big oak tree.
A cute little way to celebrate Texture Tuesday!
