You know I love a good Jamba Juice now & again…
and have a comedy crush on ELLEN… who doesn’t?
Adele’s carpool karaoke kinda won me over… but this latest video pretty much seals the deal bringing all three of them together. I love Adele when she shows off her funny side!

Click here to watch Adele at Jamba Juice… as the mouthpiece for ELLEN.
Adele was wearing an earpiece and had to follow all of Ellen’s directions
and repeat everything Ellen told her. And of course… hilarity ensued.

Generally not a huge fan of “colorized” classic Christmas movies. I’d prefer them in black & white if they were MADE in black & white. Yep, I’m kind of a purist. But I must admit I did just enjoy a little Christmas flashback fun with the “I Love Lucy” gang… even though they were in color!

And then, as if I needed yet another holiday procrastination diversion...
The colorized Christmas Special was followed by arguably the BEST Lucy sketch ever!!!
LUCY DOES A TELEVISION COMMERCIAL

Far and away my favorite Lucy skit. Laughing out loud. Tears running down my face…
That first taste-test swallow gets me every time!!! The face. the swallow. The grimace.
It’s so tasty too. Just like candy.”

Click here for the full episode.. which includes Lucy in a box… and then the commercial!!!
If you want the shorter version with just the commercial, click here.
And then feel free to play along… after more than a few swigs of Vitameatavegamin

“Well, I’m your Vitavigavegivat Girl. Are you tired, run down, listless?
Do you pop out at parties? Are you unpoopular? [pause] Well, are you?
The answer to all your problems is in this little ol’ bottle, Vitameatavegamin.
[Checks the bottle label]  That’s it.
Vitameatavegamin contains vitamins, meat, megetables and vinerals.
So why don’t you join the thousands of happy peppy people and get a great big
bottle of Vitaveatyvemeanyminimoe. I’ll tell you what you have to do.
You have to take a whole tablespoonful after every meal.
It’s so tasty too. It’s just like candy.
[Takes a bit of time, if not too much, trying to sample the liquid. Finally… ]

So everybody get a bottle of…   [pointing at the bottle]… this stuff.”

So what would happen if two of my favorite things came together???
Pottery AND Reality TV.

Well, it looks like it’s about to happen over “on the other side of the pond.”
Seems like there’s a new Reality TV show brewing with potters as contestants.
Not sure of the details, or if we can see i there in the States, but… I’m in !!!

It was the end for Jack… and Vincent was right there by his side.
What a wonderful evening. The final episode. Exciting, fulfilling and sad all at the same time.
I would still refer to “LOST” as the BEST TV SHOW EVER!!!

And I love this Comment from some guy named Domenico on Facebook…
“Saying that LOST is a TV show is like saying that Sistine Chapel is a painted wall.”

Right now… while sitting around with a bucket of Mr. Cluck’s chicken!!!

And for those who may not be familiar with the holiday of Festivus…

According to Wikipedia (which means it must be true, right?)…
Festivus
, a well-celebrated parody, has become a secular holiday celebrated on December 23 that serves as an alternative to participating in the pressures and commercialism of the Christmas season. Originally a family tradition of scriptwriter Dan O’Keefe, who worked on the American sitcom
“Seinfeld”, the holiday entered popular culture after it was made the focus of a 1997 episode of the program. The holiday’s celebration, as it was shown on “Seinfeld”, includes a Festivus dinner, an unadorned aluminum Festivus pole, practices such as the “Airing of Grievances” and “Feats of Strength”, and the labeling of easily explainable events as “Festivus miracles”.

The episode refers to it as “a Festivus for the rest of us”, referencing its non-commercial aspect. It has also been described both as a “parody holiday festival” and as a form of playful consumer resistance.

Still not there yet?… maybe you need to take the day off of Christmas prep to curl up on the sofa and watch a few “Seinfeld” reruns?! This episode is “The Strike”… the tenth episode of the ninth & final season of “Seinfeld”. Hard to believe, it’s also the 166th episode of “Seinfeld”!!! Which I still think was the best TV comedy show ever!!! Followed closely by “I Love Lucy.”

A little last-minute Halloween fun… thanks to Ellen DeGeneres!
With quite possibly the best Haunted House video ever.
I can’t get through it without laughing out loud!!!
I love the ever-macho Executive Producer Andy who is there to “protect” show-writer Amy.
With such classic phrases like “Stop it.”… and “I’m protecting you.”

So here’s the basic concept… just in case you missed the first season… you get to sit around watching TV and watch other people sitting around watching TV. And trust me, they’re making all of the same comments you’re saying in your head. Only funnier!!! They cover a wide range of shows, several during each episode. And the “family” dynamics are hysterical!!! They’ve collected a great group of characters fitting all of the basic demographics.

The Zeno Family : My favorite character of the entire show is Mom Princella… her comments & facial reactions crack me up!!!

Julie and Brandy: BFFs and Writing Partners

Blake, Scott, and Emerson: Gay BFFs

Amanda and Kenya: Sisters and Roommates

The Egber Family

Cathy and Destiney: Sisters

The Resnick Family

Teddi, Ayn, and Sue: Neighbors/Friends

And with a crazy cast of characters making crazy faces like this.. what’s not to like?
I dare you to watch a clip and NOT laugh out loud!!! You’ll be hooked in no time.
And I’ve given you a few video clips to get you started. Have fun!!!
