Kind of enamored with this platter that I threw as a class demo in a recent class. I think it’s all about the lighting!!! It’s a bit of an optical illusion… is the spiral indented or raised up?! You know how I LOVE a good spiral!

Celebrating NATIONAL PIZZA DAY with a quick dinner before going downstairs to teach the GREAT LILLSTREET THROWDOWN tonight. You know how much I love a good “National Holiday”… especially when it’s covered with gooey-melty cheese!!!

Last Thursday during my GREAT LILLSTREET THROWDOWN class, I challenged my students to throwing a six-pound platter in twenty minutes. Larger than most of them have ever thrown… and one has “never” thrown… so overall I was quite impressed & they all did an AMAZING job with this challenge.

A fun little set of green stamped dessert plates… just waiting for a slice of cake, piece of pie, a bunch of brownies, or a pile of OREOs if you’re getting all fancy on me!

Getting back in the routine… back in the studio, back to teaching, and back to “trying” to eat a little bit healthier. So unfortunately, I’ve had to replace the cheesecakes with avocados this week!!! HA!!!

Looks like there’s ALWAYS room for cake!!! Diane is once again showing off some of her pottery collection with a large purple stamped platter… and a beautiful vanilla bean cake!

I kinda just want to run my fingers through that frosting!!!

Cozy, warm & savory… baked Delicata Squash on a stamped plate. Handmade & homemade… always a great dinner combo!

Nothing rings in the New Year like a chocolate layer cake… especially when it’s a carrot cake filled with raspberry preserves. So it has both vegetables AND fruit in it… making it a “healthy” way to start the New Year!!!

Another holiday get-together… and another opportunity for another cheesecake! You know I love making them, decorating them & sharing them… oh yeah, and eating them!!! Happy Holidays!!!
