Late to the party… and not quite one of The Ghouls.
But these cute jack o’lanterns are wheelthrown & carved like Halloween pumpkins! And the squirrels won’t be eating through these ones! The lids come off and a votive candle can be burned inside to illuminate their silly grins! They will be part of the official Photo Album posted on my Fire When Ready Pottery Facebook this morning at 10:10am CST for the big online sale!… 10/10@10:10.

Every year I add another character to THE GHOULS COLLECTION… and this year’s addition was the Dia de los Muertos Sugar Skulls. They come in an assortment of colors & patterns… with an extra pattern section on the back side too! These will all be shown in the official GHOULS COLLECTION Photo Album tomorrow morning at 10:10am on my Fire When Ready Pottery Facebook page. Add the newest Ghoul to your collection… or just add a whimsical splash of color to your home!!!

It was the first weekend of October… and a perfect chance to pull out the Halloween Decorations! My friend Chris pulled out all the stops & all the lights… decorating the front of her house in festive spooky glory. Including some huge spiders on her ceramic totem pole!!!

I think I need to go trick-or-treating at HER house this year!

My friend Julie has been making yummy caramel apples! Melt, dip, cool… some get bubbles… and she pointed out the “similarity” to my pumpkins with warts!!! I see it… TOO FUNNY!!!

And if you happen to be anywhere in Central Illinois… you can get these yummy caramel apples at MAURIE’S CANDY SHOP in Eureka! It’s a great candy shop serving sweets & helping the developmentally disabled with a place for them to work & learn life skills. Say “Hi” to my college friends & sweet shop owners Keith & Julie while you’re there stocking up on some sweets!

My pumpkin patch is quickly coming to life! Some of them have gotten a splash of color… while some are staying a bit more “natural.” Always fun to see these little guys smiling back at you in the studio!
