Some of the coolest flowers EVER have once again decided to pop-up & start blooming in my garden. These “Bears Britches” have such great “towers” of purple flowers… and the dark green leaves have such great shapes too! Always a treat when these favorites make their annual appearance!

Not quite sure what these are… but they’re beautiful in my neighbor’s garden across the street. Spiky small clusters of orange & dark green leaves. I’m hoping that they decide to “migrate” into my garden too!!!

Crazy cool & colorful caladium leaves… when texture, color & pattern collide in Nature!… with a few raindrops!!!

Rainy day.
Dripping on textures.
Creating puddles on hosta leaves.

And just when I was about to give up on these seeds
that I planted a few weeks ago…

Looks like someone’s succulent garden got a little upgrade… a stamped & soda-fired wall pocket vase purchased during the Hinsdale Fine Arts Festival. I’m sure they will love their new home & be thriving in no time!!!

More colorful flag iris blooming today…
these little guys don’t seem to mind the chilly breeze?!

Another beauty blooming in my garden. I sure do LOVE iris season. The colors, the shapes, the petals… and even the scent. Not everybody likes the way iris smell… but it’s like a childhood flashback memory for me!

Another sweet little flag iris popping up in the garden…
I’m LOVING iris season this year!!!
