FLASHBACK FRIDAY… with this little cutie!
Ryann was adorable in her little pink glasses eating out of her favorite mug! She no longer has the glasses… but hopefully still loves the mug now that she’s eight years older… and she’s still adorable!
And it looks like I’m not the only one who has a happy orchid re-blooming! This one lives in Peoria and is re-blooming for the first time… and in a BIG way!!! It looks very happy in it’s little corner there… but I’m thinking it’s also about the flowerpot!!!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful orchid with us Gerry & Rosene… which they seriously “remembered” as being a white orchid, until it re-bloomed as yellow… as it always was a yellow orchid. HA!
And for those who don’t do Easter at all… HAPPY SPRING!
It’s still a perfect chance to appreciate the warmer weather, the new spring growth & the early flowers popping up everywhere! Here’s an amazing collection of hellebores gathered by my friend Yuki presented & floating in one of my stamped bowls. I love the colors, textures & patterns of Yuki’s collection – thanks for sharing!!!
Looks like Tracy is all decked-out for the Easter Bunny already… with her new green basket-bowl & cobalt blue sgraffito platter framing the colorful & “egg-citing” festivities!!!
Looks like an Easter Bunny in Pennsylvania has been busy decorating eggs! Pretty pastel colors in a vibrant green stamped bowl! Thanks for sharing Jody!
Looks like one of my Easter Baskets made its way to MAURIE’S SUGAR SHOPPE in Eureka, Illinois! And if you know of a good Easter Bunny still looking for sweet treats, THIS IS THE PLACE!!! Handmade goodies, homemade fudge, chocolate bunnies & eggs and plenty of retro candies to bring back the childhood memories! If you’re in Central Illinois, be sure to swing by today!!! Thanks Keith & Julie… it looks so festive, fun & yummy there!

Just a quick “before & after” shot of six stamped & soda-fired tumblers! A special “surprise” commission project for a friend who was sworn in as the Clerk of Montgomery County yesterday! They said the wanted stamped & soda-fired with bright blue accents… I think these will work just fine!
I only needed two for the order… but I always like to “hedge my bets” with a few extras in case something goes awry during the process! Luckily, all six of them turned out great. So Karen will be excited, and I’ll have a few extras for the next big sale!
Looks like Maryann’s houseplants are ready for a warmer Spring just like the rest of us. Happy to be blooming & basking in the window’s sun. Perfect for Flowerpot Friday!
Hard to tell size & scale of my March chain… but with my own little “Carol Merrill” at the ready to model for me, it looks even better when someone is wearing it. Huge thanks to my friend Christine for being around today as I “drafted here” to model it for me!!!

She’s a trooper… and great artist… yes, she’s the one who made the amazing OREO planter for me!!! Huge “props” to Christine!!!
Looks like Spring is working its way into Oak Park… and my friend & fellow potter Roberta’s backyard where the snowdrops have started to bloom. She brought a few blossoms inside for her perfect little bud vase! So pleased that my tumbler made her photo shoot! Thanks for the shout-out Roberta!
