Good to see my friend Julie is celebrating a little Mugshot Monday with her new “favorite” mug… that she picked up during my Pop-Up Shop at MAURIE’S SUGAR SHOPPE!

Huge thanks to my friends Keith & Julie for hosting my latest Pottery Pop-Up at MAURIE’S SUGAR SHOPPE this week. It was so much fun hanging out in a candy store all day, meeting some new customers, selling some pottery… and just “maybe” eating some candy along the way! Thanks to everyone who stopped by last Wednesday at MAURIE’S in Eureka… we had a very “sweet” time!!!

Another culinary treat from my friend Julie. This time some sort of chocolate torte with a raspberry glaze. Looks pretty yummy on a blue sgraffito platter! Thanks for sharing your masterpiece Julie… now if she could just share a slice of that torte too?!!!

Looks like Jody is enjoying a little snack… red wine over ice, with bread & butter. Always a tasty treat… but even more so on handmade pottery! Thanks for sharing Jody… even though some have said it looks a bit more like Communion than a snack?!!!

Celebrating a little MUGSHOT MONDAY… with a sad occasion for my friend Kristen! My mugs may be food-safe, dishwasher-safe & microwave-safe… but they are NOT gravity-safe! Too bad Kristen learned that lesson the hard way… luckily she has a few back-ups & a few “imposters” we need to work on replacing!!! Hint, hint…

And don’t think the Red Devil Hats were just for the kids… but also the “Kid-at-Hearts”!!! I mean… who doesn’t want to look just like their new favorite Ghoul in the collection?!

So while I was unloading the kiln last Friday with my new Little Red Devils, one of my studio mates said she had a bunch of red devil hats in her studio for no apparent reason. Someone had just dropped them off hoping she could do something with them… and she offered them to me! Crazy coincidence, huh?

So of course I took them… and gave them away with some of the Little Red Devils during ART IN THE BARN last weekend. Too funny!!! But I’m not sure if little Teagan is more into the Red Devils, or the caramel apple lollipop?! She’s still ADORABLE either way!

While you’re at ART IN THE BARN today, be sure to stop by to see my friend Sandy’s beautiful botanicals captured with a wonderful patina! Fantastic pieces further down in the Lower Barn with “Of Nature Jewelry.”

I’ll also have a selection of my new “hybrid mugs”… the combined wheelthrown & handbuilt mugs with textured pattern all the way around. So be sure to come to ART IN THE BARN to grab yourself a new mug… crying kid not included!!!

Thanks for the photo Nancy… looks like little Teagan wants to “get out” of that huge mug!

Beautiful roses for a beautiful birthday present for my friend Kelly. Her Mom gave her the stunning flowers… and Kelly put them in one of my stamped & soda-fired vases. Gorgeous roses… but methinks Kelly might need a bigger vase soon???
