Always exciting to find a monarch caterpillar out in the wild… even if they are eating away the milkweeds – HA! These orange milkweeds must be a “specialty” flavor for them?!

Pedaling through prairies & wildflowers this afternoon… amazed at the colors & textures already blooming out there. The wildflowers were amazing… but let’s just say, that red-winged blackbird was NOT so happy to see me there! Protecting his area… screeching & dive-bombing at me… telling me to move on away from his territory!
Pure determination & fortitude… locking in and making the best out of a tight squeeze.
Looks like some happy petunias found their place in one of my stamped & soda-fired wall hanging vases. I hope they thrive in their new home for Tina’s Mom!!!
A sweet little stamped & soda-fired mini vase with a few sprigs of fresh eucalyptus… brightening Tiffany’s table! You can almost smell the eucalyptus from here!
Always fun to have great art fair booth neighbors… like Rhonda & Maria!
Not only were they hysterical all weekend… kept me laughing the whole time. But they also each brought me a bundle of flowers from their own gardens to help show off my vases! So sweet. So thoughtful… even if they were trying to one-up each other!!! HA!!!
It’s apparently IRIS SEASON… at least by looking in my garden! I’m totally enamored by all of the different iris colors, textures & aromas that are blooming along my garden this week. The smell of a good iris is totally a childhood flashback. Some people love the scent, some people don’t… I love it!!! Unfortunately, the flowers are short-lived… so enjoy them while you can!
Cute little flowers in a cute little vase. This little bouquet smalls amazing… but sadly, the Lily-Of-The-Valley season is quickly drawing to an end. Enjoy them while you can smell them!!!
Pretty little flowers in the garden with their intoxicating scent.
It’s Lily-Of-The-Valley season!!!
I always love when this little guy pops-up in my front garden!
A fun Jack-In-The-Pulpit flower blooming on a graceful stem.
