With some clouds blowing through this morning, I wondered if we were even going to get much a of a sunrise this morning?! And then we went through a few different variations starting with dark & moody… followed by dark reflections… and then ethereal sun rays! So I guess we did pretty good considering I started out with fairly low expectations this morning!
HAPPY SATURDAY MORNING!!!
Kinda feels like every other day of the week, right?…
and I’m sure you’re tired of watching all the same TV shows over & over these days!
But who else remembers the MAGIC of Saturday morning cartoons?… sitting on the sofa eating straight outta the box of breakfast cereal! Mine were Apple Jacks!!! But I digress… well, here’s a link to NINETY classic Looney Tunes Cartoons to watch right now! Introduce your kids to the cartoon classics… and how they introduced us in their own way to opera, politics, pop culture, classic movies & more!!! From Bugs & Daffy… to Porky & Sylvester… all the way to Marvin The Martian and Michigan J. Frog!!! Love them all…

SO WHICH ONE IS YOUR FAVORITE EPISODE?!!!
Just another fun night of making mini vases… even more fun when you’re thowing off-the-hump!!! Making more cutie-patooties!
For those of you saw Cory’s amazing teapot in process a couple days back… and were wondering what the final teapot looked like AFTER the final firing??? Well, here you go… and it’s AMAZING!!!
And while you’re at it… be sure to go see more of her work and follow Cory on Facebook!!! Click here!
Here are a few detail shots… all whimsically crafted by Cory!
Some great details & accents that have come out of the COVID-19 lockdown & quarantine. Just a few more signs of the times!!!
While “documenting” the whole concept of Shelter-At-Home… of course Cory had to pay homage to the whole face mask situation! So many people making masks of their own… and Cory making even more, but now on such a small scale!
Notice the clothesline hanging between the teapot & spout…
and the wonderful masks hanging out to dry!
Hopefully there’s some days in our future soon where we won’t need those darn masks any more!!!
After all of the rain the past couple days, it wasn’t too surprising to find the beach areas flooded just north of Loyola… with the water resting all the way up to the cement mural bench that runs the length of Tobey Prinz Beach Park! Cool to see… but better to see the sun again this morning!!!
It’s the first of May and not a cloud in the sky! Just that “dark cloud” of a virus still hanging over us all. I hope that you all are staying safe, staying healthy & staying creative!!!… and keep finding ways to maintain a little bit of “normal” in your daily lives… maybe like a sunrise bike ride???
