WHOO-HOO!!! We’ve just passed another Facebook milestone. And I still remember when I didn’t think I needed to be on Facebook because I had nothing worthwhile to share. Apparently I was wrong. Thanks to everyone who continues to follow my pottery adventures, visual explorations, and just “a few” biking sunrises along the way! Remember, you may not get all of the posts in your News Feed, so check back and read the full Fire When Ready Pottery Facebook page every now & again. And remember to “share” with your friends… I think we should shoot for 3,000 by the end of the year! Thanks again.
And oh, but wait there’s more… you can also do a “search” for Fire When Ready Pottery on Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube. You can find me & follow me pretty much everywhere! Have fun!!!
Congratulations on this huge milestone! I use your website, blog, and even facebook as an example in my class all the time. I love showing my students real world examples of working artists. Your blog and other social media show my students how important WRITING and communication skills are. Thank you for you content and your outstanding example of what it means to be a working artist in world of the web !

THANKS TRICIA – I must admit that sometimes you start to wonder if anyone is out there reading anything? Why do I continue to blog? And Facebook? And everything else. But then you get a wonderful comment such as yours and it suddenly makes everything worthwhile. Thanks for sharing your story… and I will continue sharing mine!!!
Gary,
Keep posting away. I follow you on facebook, instagram, Pintrest, and your blog! I even give my students a “Gary Jackson ” assignment! They have to design and then use their own stamps on a wheel thrown piece. Maybe one day you could even be a guest speaker in my classroom.
Thanks!
Tricia
TRICIA – I would love to be!!! I would also love to see some examples of their stamps, process and finished pieces. If you send me some photos with a few more details about your kids, I would love to do a blog post about them. Imagine their surprise when they saw their own pieces published on my blog!!! If you’re interested, please e-mail photos & stories to gary@firewhenreadypottery.com. Thanks.
