Gary Jackson: Fire When Ready Pottery
A Chicago potter’s somewhat slanted view of clay & play

Tonight it was back to bowls. This time they’ll become of the berry variety.
So tomorrow night I stamp & decorate before class. Then later it’s trimming & drainage holes.
And then when there’s room on the table, I’ll need to make the drip plates to go with ’em!

I really admire the sheer volume of beautiful things you make. I am NOWHERE near as accomplished in that department (I have less experience and am, unfortunately, addicted to fussing over each individual piece), so when I see rows and rows of bowls, I suffer from envy. It’s a motivator for me, though!

Go, Gary, Go!
